Working in the online education sector since 2009, I am intimately familiar with the workings of LMS-based online instruction. Having worked with Subject Matter Experts and Instructional Designers to develop courses, along with back-end developers, Quality Assurance, and even marketing, there is essentially no part of the eLearning development process I have not been a part of, including:


  • Overseeing day-to-day development and creation of interactive learning objects.
  • Uncovering knowledge gaps within courses, and working directly with the instructional designers to conceptualize and develop interactive elements for each course to clarify those concepts.
  • Constructing responsive content across a variety of browsers – both desktop and mobile – focusing on the user experience.
  • Leading my team in daily scrums, backlog grooming sessions, and sprint planning meetings, according to the agile methodology.
  • Working directly with quality assurance to guarantee the timely release of products that were of the highest caliber.
  • Designing graphics, illustrations, and interactive assets for course lectures, study guides, videos, and interactive learning objects.
  • Developing custom interactive content using HTML5, JavaScript, Flash and ActionScript 3.
